Libraries in the Borders

If you have not finished with your item you may be able to extend the loan period.
You can renew or extend the loan by:
- doing it yourself online
- telephoning the library
- asking library staff to do it for you.
Any hire charges will also apply to the renewal e.g. dvds and music cds. The additional charge will be added to your account for payment next time you are in the library.
Renew your books online
Use your library card barcode and PIN to log in to your library account. If you don't know your PIN ask the library staff when you are next in the library.
Help with renewals
Renewing your loans online is quick and easy. If you are having trouble renewing your items online this may be because:
- there are outstanding charges on your record
- the item has been requested by someone else
- the renewal limit of three times has been reached
- your membership is coming up for renewal.
