Using your library
Our library service serves every member of the public living and working in the Scottish Borders.
Our service includes:
- 12 public libraries
- six mobile library vans
- nine high school libraries
Combined they provide a full range of services from:
- lending books, music, DVDs, videos and CD-ROMs
- browsing the internet
- holding various courses and activities for all ages
- locating business, local history, genealogical and tourist information
We also support a Borders General Hospital patients' library run by volunteers. (Anyone interested in volunteering please contact Galashiels Library).
