Planning enforcement

Where allegations have been made that a development has been carried out without the necessary consent(s) having first been obtained, we will investigate the development and seek to resolve any breaches of planning control that may have occurred.

We will also investigate when conditions attached to a planning consent have not been complied with and can actively seek to enforce the terms of those conditions.

Reporting of works

If you have any concerns about the development or use of land or buildings in your local area,  you can report an issue online.  

Alternatively, you can write to us providing as much detail as you can about what your concerns are.

Enforcement register

You can view our enforcement register - this a list of addresses where there has been a breach of planning control. It is updated whenever a new notice is issued.
