Long term plans for the area
Consolidated development plan
The Development Plan sets out how places should change, where development should be directed and what places could be like in the future
Consolidated local plan
The Local Plan sets out detailed policies and proposals for development and use of land in order to guide planning decisions
Consolidated structure plan
The Structure Plan forms part of the Development Plan, and provides the long term vision and strategy for the Scottish Borders
Local development plan
As part of the changes in the Scottish Planning System, we are required to produce a Local Development Plan to replace our existing Local Plans
