Great coffee and delicious scones
Savour the taste of freshly-ground FairTrade coffee, the perfect accompaniment to Gill Orde's delicious traybakes and fresh scones, in the relaxed setting of the recently refurbished Café.
Walking and cycling
Discover the beauty of the local countryside on foot and in the saddle. Harestanes lies on St Cuthbert's Way, one of the country's most popular long-distance paths.
A network of quiet public roads provides plenty of choice for cyclists, including the 55 mile '4 Abbeys Cycle Route' which passes through Harestanes.
Group visits and room hire
Visitor centre staff are available to assist visiting schools and groups with outdoor topics. Room available to hire for birthday parties, meetings and training events. Contact the visitor centre for more details.
