We provide forty three public toilets throughout the region, please have a look in the directory to see where they are located and their opening times.

We do not charge for use of the toilets.

RADAR Scheme

A RADAR key allows 24 hour independent access for people with disabilities to around 7,000 fully accessible toilets in the UK.

What is RADAR?

The Royal Association for Disability and Rehabilitation - a national organisation of and for disabled people.

Who can get a RADAR key?

You can get a RADAR key if:

  • you receive Disability Living Allowance (DLA) with mobility component or
  • you claim Attendance Allowance (AA) or
  • you have a Blue Badge.

You will need to provide proof of your eligibility to receive a RADAR key.

How do I get a RADAR key?

In person: from any of our contact centres.

 

The cost varies depending on where you get the key from, but they are normally in the region of £4-4.80.

On the internet: from RADAR for £4.00 including postage.
