The Spookmaster - Scary Stories for Children - is a play about childhood fears and how families face problems together. Written and performed by Mark Pencak, with music by John Williams and set by Emma Gilchrist. The Spookmaster uses animated puppets, film, music and pop-up monsters to present old fashioned spooky family fun.
When he was a boy, his brother Jack told him dreams were made by Spookmaster - a mysterious figure who lived alone, high up in a dark tower. Sometimes he sent children dreams of goals, ponies and pop-stars but other times he sent them nightmares - dreams of vampires, ghosts and goblins. Of course he never believed him until the day he dreamed the Spookmaster face to face. Family entertainment - puppetry, film and music Suitable for 8 years and over Running time: 50 minutes Promoted by Scottish Borders Council Arts Development |
