A Taste of Honey is a funny and moving story about a teenager called Jo. Set in late 50's Manchester, it follows her as she struggles with poverty, pregnancy and a neglectful mother in her pursuit of happiness.... her taste of honey.

This is a radical, mould breaking and yet extremely accessible play in which the harsh realities of working class life clash with a young woman's desperate hope that things can get better.
