A taste of Honey is a funny and moving story about a teenager called Jo. Set in late 50's Manchester, it follows her as she struggles with poverty, pregnancy and a neglectful mother in her persuit of happiness... her taste of honey.
This is a radical, mould-breaking and yet extremely accessible play in which the harsh realities of working class life clash with a young woman's desperate hope that things can get better. Following TAG's extremely successful production of David Harrower's modern classic, Knives In Hens, which toured Scotland in 2005, don't miss the chance to see one of Scotland's leading touring companies perform Shelagh Delaney's 60's drama. Teenage / Adult theatre. Running time: 2 hours Promoted by Scottish Borders Council Arts Development |
