This is an opportunity for local people to come to the Hundy Mundy folly and wood to learn about natural burial. Set on the ridge of a hill southeast of Mellerstain, it is home to the 13th Earl of Haddington and offers an alternative to conventional funeral services.

The site is located 4 miles north of Kelso just off the A6089, on the road signposted for Girrick.

Take the opportunity to walk through the woodland and observe, first hand, the beautiful setting of Hundy Mundy wood. Director Ian Walls of Native Woodland Ltd will be there to answer any of your questions regarding natural burial.

Visitors are asked to dress as they would for a walk in the wood.

Further details are available in the site brochure and poster.
