Walter Elliot talks about his memories of World War II as a Borders bairn.

An illustrated talk by Walter Elliot about his memories of World War II will take place in the Galashiels Library on Wednesday 3rd August at 7pm.

Walter will discuss the "secret underground army" raised in the Borders from local men, to defend the area in the event of German invasion.

Places are limited so please book early at Galashiels Library.
