Each piece of work contains a journey walked and materials gathered by the artist in her home area of Perthshire and also the Borders.

Each piece of work contains a journey walked by the artist in her home area of Perthshire and also the Borders.  On the walks the artist gathers both natural and man-made objects which are either incorporated into or inspire the finished piece. 

The main raw materials come from hand-made plant and papers created from plants growing on the route of the walks so that the colours and textures of the landscape are naturally inherent in the papers themselves.
