Talk by local historian Walter Elliot.
Walter Elliot local historian will talk about War in Gala as part of the Gala's Home Front project. This will be followed by a discussion of on people's own memories. The project aims to encourage reminiscence from people who lived through the war years in Galashiels and nearby villages and to record these memories through oral history.
