Paintings inspired by the passionate earthiness of Scottish poems, songs and stories.

From Celtic themes, through the Border Ballads, Scott, Hogg, Burns, MacDiarmid and Hamish Henderson these large scale paintings by a Dumfriesshire-based artist delve into the rich heritage of Scottish literature.

Exhibition runs from 4 July - 8 August in the museum's Gallery. Visit the Tweeddale Museum page for details of opening times.
