The Remarkable Life and Legacy of Archie Cochrane CBE.
Son of a Galashiels mill-owning family, Archie Cochrane’s indomitable drive took him through the Spanish Civil War and World War II to a distinguished career in medicine. 2009 is the 100th anniversary of his birth.
