Pentland Drovers Walk Archaeology Month

Accompanied by the Council’s Archaeologist and one of the Countryside Rangers, take a hike in the Pentland Hills. Passing North Esk Reservoir, the Bore Stone, Cauldstane Slap and Baddinsgill Reservoir. 

HIKE - LONG to STRENUOUS

Accompanied by the Council’s Archaeologist and one of the Countryside Rangers, take a hike in the Pentland Hills. Passing North Esk Reservoir, the Bore Stone, Cauldstane Slap and Baddinsgill Reservoir.  A chance to learn about the history of the area and to look out for some upland wildlife. A total distance of 11 miles/17½km, with a total climb of 1,100ft/350m. Meet at CARLOPS VILLAGE HALL (in the centre of Carlops), NT 161559. This event is FREE.
