Border life under the Romans with a host of Roman artefacts.

As well as life-size reproduction sets, the exhibition includes a centurion’s tent and a Roman kitchen.

A lecture entitled ‘The Romans in the Borders – the Latest Finds’ by Fraser Hunter, Principal Curator Iron Age and Roman Collections, National Museums of Scotland will accompany this exhibition on 4th November, 7.30pm at Hawick Town Hall -  part of the Hawick Archaeological Society syllabus of lectures.
