This section of the Borders Abbeys Way takes us through farmland and forestry following part of the old Thief’s Road. A variety of wildlife and flowers should be seen and good views from Wollrig and Drinkstone Hill. A total distance of 12 miles/19km with a climb of 1,200ft /370m.

This section of the Borders Abbeys Way takes us through farmland and forestry following part of the old Thief’s Road. A variety of wildlife and flowers should be seen and good views from Wollrig and Drinkstone Hill. A total distance of 12 miles/19km with a climb of 1,200ft /370m. Adults £5, concessions £2, children free. Meet at 10am at the bus stance, Selkirk Square, SELKIRK, NT 470284  Free transport provided from here to the start of the walk.
