A 12 mile/19km hike from the Bowmont valley up onto the Border ridge taking in “The Castles” and returning by The Street and Blackbrough Hill fort. No dogs. Children under 18 must be accompanied by their parent. Meet beyond the cattle grid just past Belford on Bowmont (telephone box), 5 miles/8km south of YETHOLM, NT 816207.
