A training day with a hike in the Eildons suitable for people that can manage a climb.

Spend a day learning about maps, including a walk on the Eildon Hills. The morning session will be spent looking at the different types of map used by hillwalkers and how to plan a route for a walk. The afternoon will be spent walking in the hills using the maps. A walk of around 4 miles/7km with a climb of 1,000feet/350m. Adults (over 18years) £5, concessions £2.
