Tickets are now available for 'Scotland's Queen of comedy' in her highly anticipated first national tour coming to the Volunteer Hall, Galashiels, this autumn.

Twice nominated for best actress at the Rose d'Or television festival, Karen Dunbar first burst onto the Scottish screen in 1999 in the hit comedy sketch show "Chewin the Fat" and then upped the ante with her own show, surprisingly named... "The Karen Dunbar show"!

In a show covering everything from Disneyland to dogs eating toffee, Karen uses her musical edge to breathe life into the morphing of Rabbie Burns and Shirley Bassey!  

But, in the words of the mother tongue, "it's better felt than telt"
