Join Walk it and the SBC Archaeology Officer for the last in a series of fun and informal strolls around historical and archaeological sites in the Borders.
Set in the beautiful surroundings of the Scottish Borders, you’ll learn about the area’s rich archaeological past in the company of friendly folk. Please note our archaeology walks are longer than our usual walks and may involve inclines. Most of these walks are Easy to Moderate but may include rough ground, uneven and muddy paths and gentle hills. We do stop a lot and go at an easy pace so the walks should be suitable for most walkers. Remember, if it has rained a lot or cattle have been in the fields, the ground may be very muddy and difficult to walk. Bring suitable shoes and clothing for the weather and terrain and a bottle of water. Children and young people under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Sorry, due to health and safety, no dogs are allowed on these walks. Many of our walks do not have toilets or other facilities nearby. |
