Join Laura Aitken and the SBC Archaeology Officer Rory McDonald for the third in a series of lively and informative historical walks. Set in the beautiful surroundings of the Scottish Borders, you’ll learn about the area’s rich archaeological past in the company of friendly folk.

Take a trip with us back in time.  From Walkerburn we will explore the industrial past and then cross over the River Tweed to discover a medieval tower house and the Iron Age settlement of Plora Craig.
This walk is 2.5km (1.5 miles) and can be over some rough ground and slight hills.  Please wear appropriate clothing and shoes as Scottish weather can be so unpredictable. We always recommend bringing water and this will be especially important during the summer months. Children and young people under 17 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
