Vivien Alexander's work explores the details of the landscape around her.

She has lived in the Yarrow Valley for the last seven years and her latest works look at the details that surround her – foliage, plants, flowers, birds and animals. She captures patterns and shapes that can become diffused with the changing light; glowing skies, wet shining stones, sun reflected through leaves or disappearing behind a hill top. Her paintings hold the emotion and atmosphere invoked by the subject and are alive with wonderful colour.

The exhibition is open Monday - Friday from 9am-5pm.
