Child Protection Guidelines
Do you volunteer for a youth group or children’s club such as scouts, sports groups or church groups? Do you regularly work with parents of children under 16? If you answered ‘yes’ - you should be aware of the guidelines.
Pauline Walker, Chair of the Child Protection Committee, said, “We are pleased that we have been able to make the guidelines more accessible through the online version. It also means that any changes to the guidance are reflected as and when they occur and that there is a saving in printing costs. This is in an important development in promoting child protection and in raising awareness of everyone’s responsibility for keeping children safe."
Should there be any IT difficulties accessing the guidelines and you need advice please contact the social work intake team on 01896 662762 or Emergency Duty Team on 01896 752111 who can access a copy at all times.
