Community Grant Funding

Scottish Borders Community Grant Scheme can offer grant funding of up to £5,000 to fully constituted non-profit making voluntary/community groups who have their own annual accounts and bank account.

Decision making is made through local Area Committees for grants of £500 and over, and by SBC Officials for grants under £500.  Grants of £500 and over require a minimum of 10% match-funding.  Decisions on funding take roughly 8 weeks from receipt of a fully completed application and applicants are advised to submit applications well in advance of project start dates.  The scheme is unable to grant retrospective funding.
