Biography:
Born in Cudal, New South Wales, Australia, 30th April 1942; Educated at Edinburgh Academy 1948 – 1960; Trinity College, Dublin 1960 – 1964 and Edinburgh University and Moray House College of Education 1965 - 1966. History Teacher and Principal Teacher of Guidance, Hawick High School, 1966 – 2002. Trustees Warden, St Cuthberts Church, Hawick. Scottish Qualifications Authority Examiner, 2000 to present date. Jock has four grown up children and two grandsons, and has been very happily married to Kate since 1976.
