Farmed at Muircleuch, Lauder, then for past 30 years at Dolphinston, Jedburgh. Member of Board of Scottish Water and Sewage Customers Council 1996 – 1999. Has been Chairman of Jedburgh Conservative Branch and also Joint Secretary and Chairman of Jedforest Fox Hounds.
