Biography:

Vicky Davidson was brought up in the Ettrick Valley where she attended Kirkhope Primary and subsequently Selkirk High School.  She went on to gain an MA in Politics at Edinburgh University.  Over the next few years she worked in event management with a wide number of charities and arts organisations across Scotland,  including two years as the Administrator of the Scottish International Children's Festival.  Vicky then went on to develop a successful career in radio production working for the BBC in Edinburgh and Glasgow as a features producer and winning several international awards.   She has travelled widely and has a particular interest in Economic development.    When she is not busy with Council work she helps on the family farm,  rides horses and looks after her daughter.
