SEX AND THE CITY

Four years have passed since we last raised a glass with Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha. And while the time has brought a few changes – Samantha lives in Los Angeles, and Charlotte is, at long last, a mother – much remains the same. Samantha really, really loves sex, and Charlotte is borderline obsessive-compulsive. Meanwhile, Miranda continues her love/hate relationship with Brooklyn, and Carrie and Big have finally settled into a functional relationship, with wedding bells in the air...

Having just graduated from college, a bee by the name of Barry finds himself disillusioned with the prospect of having only one career choice – honey. Venturing outside of the hive for the first time, he breaks one of the rules of the bee world and talks to a human, a florist named Vanessa. He is shocked to discover that humans eat honey, and decides to set the world right by suing the human race for stealing the bees' precious product.

It's a beautiful morning and New York's Central Park is filled with runners, dog walkers and people taking the scenic route to work. And then something happens: People stop in their tracks, mutter incoherently and then kill themselves. As the carnage spreads to neighbouring streets, accompanied by rumours of bio-terrorism, a high school science teacher and his colleague decide to gather their families and flee the city. But the road to possible safety proves fraught with danger, human and otherwise.

But then his estranged father is murdered and a woman named Fox recruits Wes into the Fraternity, a secret society that trains Wes to avenge his dad's death by unlocking his dormant powers. Relentlessly entertaining and visually stunning.

KUNG FU PANDA

Po the panda is a huge kung fu fan. One day he sneaks away from his father's noodle shop to witness the ceremony announcing the selection of the Dragon Warrior, protector of the Valley of Peace. After accidentally inserting himself into the selection process, Po becomes the chosen one. He must overcome his physical bulk and general geekiness to prove himself to martial arts master Shifu, and help save the kingdom from the wrath of vengeful snow leopard Tai Lung.

When shooting his epic melodrama, a Chinese film director goes on location to Poland because, in his view, Poles all look miserable and will lend his film an air of tragedy. So a band of background artistes is assembled, harbouring as many racial stereotypes about the Chinese crew as they do about Poles. Stuck in the middle is assistant and translator Bozena, having to deal with a diva director, extras planning mutiny and the unexpected arrival of her ex-boyfriend...

The tale of how a young boy ascended to become legendary warrior Genghis Khan. Nine-year-old Temudgin's father, a tribal leader, is poisoned. Even though he is next in line to rule, the rest of the tribe refuses to accept leadership from a young boy, and they cast out his entire family. An epic of courage and resourcefulness follows, played out against the stunning landscapes of Central Asia, as the boy becomes a man and returns to claim what is rightfully his.

THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: PRINCE CASPIAN

One year after the incredible events of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, the Pevensie children find themselves back in Narnia, only to discover that more than 1,300 years have passed in Narnian time.  During their absence, the Golden Age of Narnia has passed, and Narnia has been conquered by the Telmarines and is now under the control of the evil King Miraz, who rules the land without mercy and has exiled Prince Caspian, the rightful heir to the throne.

AKELARE DANCERS

Akelare is a dance group who perform Basque dances in the traditional, colourful costumes of the country.  Thirty male and female dancers of mixed ages are accompanied by four musicians for this lively international dance display.

JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH

Geologist Trevor is conducting research begun by his brother Max, who disappeared years earlier in Iceland while searching for 'volcanic tubes', essentially express lanes to the centre of the earth. Trevor and Max's son Sean decide to follow the route of Max's old expedition, and, together with their guide, trek up a mountain looking for one of Trevor's geologic sensors. But, of course, it's only a few wrong steps before the journey heads way, way down below...

A playful romantic comedy with great chemistry between the leads.  Jean, a shy waiter working in a grand hotel, is mistaken for a successful millionaire by the beautiful, scheming adventuress Irène.  When she discovers his lowly status, Irène beats a quick retreat, but lovestruck Jean has no intention of letting her escape and pursues her to the Côte d'Azur, where he adopts his beloved's lifestyle, setting himself up as a male gigolo and moving into a luxury hotel...

Los Angeles resident superhero John Hancock should be best-loved guy in the city. Instead, he's the most hated. Hancock is an anti-social, on-the-skids alcoholic who generally can't be bothered to put down the bottle long enough to chase evil-doers, and when he does his drunken attempts at heroism invariably costing LA millions in damages. But then a publicist he rescues from the path of an oncoming train offers to change his image...

THE LAND BEFORE TIME

An enchanting animated prehistoric adventure that serves as an excellent introduction for small children to the fascinating world of dinosaurs. Littlefoot, a young brachiosaurus, gets separated from his family while they journey to the lush feeding grounds of the Great Valley. He, along with several baby dinosaur pals, must set out across barren, dangerous terrain, encountering perils and adventures along the way.

THE WHISTLEBINKIES

The Whistlebinkies, led by Eddie McGuire, are a well known Scottish group with an international reputation in the field of traditional and Celtic music.  Their concert incorporates selections of Scottish music, both traditional and newly composed compositions by members of the group, comprising jigs, reels, strathspeys, airs and songs.
