Northumberland is home to several castles, including Chillingham, and Alnwick Castle where some of the outdoor scenes from the first HarryPottermovie were filmed.

Hadrians' Wall runs across Northumberland and Cumbria, which is also a location favourite with a number of film makers.

Kielder National Park is also situated in Northumberland - home of the largest man-made lake in Europe.
