Business Management
The Business Management service steers and co-ordinates the delivery and improvement of business practice within Technical Services. This comprises:
- stakeholder consultation
- customer care
- communications (internal and external)
- corporate governance
- management of resources
- performance management
- management of information
- policy development
- service review
- delivery of value for money
- promotion of partnership working
In addition, the service includes Passenger Transport and SB Local, the Council’s customer-focussed rapid-response service .
The service provides the focus of liaison with corporate services and other departments in order to deliver corporate business processes, share best practice and implement the objectives of the Council's Corporate Improvement Plan. It is made up of the following services:
