Principal Role:
The Estate Management Service fulfills the primary function of providing corporate estate management and valuation advice to the Council and ensuring the efficient and effective management of its property portfolio. The Service also provides comprehensive advice on land and property matters contributing to the economic wellbeing of the Borders area.
The Section is also engaged to provide an estate management service to the Lothian & Borders Fire Board in respect of its properties within the Council's area.
