  • 300 Local Plan Consultations in 2003
  • 40 List of Public Roads Enquiries in 2003

Principal Role and Impact on Public Safety:
To manage and provide advice on all development control matters associated with future shape of road network and to administer list of public roads.  If you are intending to carry out any development that may impact on A, B or C classified public roads, for instance building a driveway or a house, you should seek the advice from the Development Control office.  This service also deals with enquiries about adopted roads that are on the official Council List of Public Roads.
