Principal Role:
The management and maintenance of grounds throughout the Scottish Borders, including the planning for and management of:
- public parks;
- play areas and their design, inspection and maintenance;
- allotments
- cemetery, green space, woodland and sports ground issues;
- two plant producing nurseries;
- the co-ordination and support of local civic award schemes;
- consultation with a wide range of users in the daily management of green space;
- a significant trading operation, providing grounds maintenance to a range of clients including Business, Registered Social Landlords and other various private customers
