Social Work offers care and support services for children and their families, older people, people with a learning disability, people with a physical disability or sensory impairment, people with mental health problems, and carers.

For more information about any of our services, please contact your local Social Work office. These are based in Galashiels, Hawick, Peebles, Duns and Kelso. Normal working hours are 8:45am-5:00pm Monday to Thursday and 8:45am-3:45pm Friday. In an emergency outside office hours, the on-call duty worker can be contacted on 01896 752 111.
