Environmental Strategy
Scottish Borders Council's Environmental Strategy is co-ordinated through Planning & Economic Development and it affects all of us.
The Environmental Strategy forms part of the Council’s and the New Ways (Community Planning) process. It plays a key role in fulfilling the Council’s obligations and commitments to sustainability and the Local Agenda 21 process. It focuses on the whole range of environmental issues, including waste, energy, transport, purchasing, and the natural and historic environment.
