Countryside Ranger Service
The Countryside Ranger Service helps both locals and visitors understand and enjoy the Scottish Borders countryside.
The Ranger Service provides the "public face" of the Council’s countryside function. Their role is to:
- help people of all ages to enjoy and understand the Borders countryside
- help protect and improve the areas of land and water visited by the public
- encourage co-operation between landowners and users.
