Sport and Recreation

Sport is playing an increasing role in improving quality of life. People now have a higher expectation from Sport than ever before and therefore require quality of opportunity and choice to enable them to enjoy and participate in activities which can contribute to their physical, emotional and social well-being.

Scottish Borders Council recognises the need for providers to work together in partnership to respond to changing and evolving Sport and Recreation needs, and develop opportunities which will enrich peoples lives and make the Borders a more attractive place to work, live, play and visit.
