The Revenues and Benefits service is responsible for the levying, billing, collection and recovery of:

As well as dealing with any discounts, exemptions, reliefs etc. which are associated with these charges.

The service is decentralised with Contact Centres in 11 of the border towns which provide a "one-stop" advice service on council wide enquiries.

To provide borders residents with a modern, customer focused and secure service.  We will do this by continually reviewing and improving our procedures.  This will ensure that we remain at the forefront of Revenues and Benefits service provision in Scotland.
