Revenues & Benefits - Who we are and what we do. 
The Revenues and Benefits service is responsible for the levying, billing, collection and recovery of:
- Council Tax
- Business Rates

Community Charge arrears

Housing Benefit Overpayments
As well as dealing with any discounts, exemptions, reliefs etc. which are associated with these charges.
We also administer:

Investigate and pursue Housing or Council Tax Benefit Fraud.
The service is decentralised with Contact Centres in 11 of the border towns which provide a "one-stop" advice service on council wide enquiries.
