List of Employers
A Scheme employer is a statutorily defined body within the terms of the regulations. Such bodies are under a statutoryobligation to participate in the scheme and are referred to as scheduled bodies.
Employers who are not specifically identified by the regulations may also participate by means of an admission agreement negotiated with the administering authority. Such employers are known as admission bodies. The terms of the admission agreement may state whether all or only some of the employees may join the scheme.
