Corporate Finance is one of eight services within Corporate Resources. We provide mainly support services to the Council and its services. At the core of Corporate Finance is the provision of accounting, budgeting and financial advisory and support services to the Council, its Committees and services. Information is available on:

The service is led by Sandy Brown, Head of Corporate Finance and comprises three sections.
- Business Support provides the accounting, budgeting and financial advice and support services
- Accounting and Systems provides specialist technical and accounting services, co-ordinating the Revenue and Capital Financial Plans and Budgetary Control Statements and maintains, develops and operates the following key corporate financial systems:-
- Commitment Accounting
- General Ledger
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Asset Register
- Projects, provides financial advisory and support services to Service and Corporate projects.
The Service currently comprises 32 full time equivalent staff plus a share of administrative and secretarial support and has an annual revenue budget of £1.9m
