- The Consolidated Revenue Account shows the Council's revenue expenditure and income for the year. It also explains how net expenditure has been financed and identifies the balance at the year-end. It also compares net expenditure with the budget.
- The Housing Revenue Account (discontinued operation) summarises the residual income and expenditure.

The Roads Trading Operation Account summarises the operations of the Council's only significant Trading Operation (which replaces the former Roads Direct Labour Organisation).
- The Council Tax Account shows gross income from the Council Tax, deductions made for reliefs and provisions against future bad debts.

- The Statement of Total Movements and Reserves shows the movements within the Council's various reserves during the year.
- The Cash Flow Statement shows where the Council's money came from and how it was spent.
- The Pension Fund Account shows the income and expenditure of the fund and includes a statement of net assets held at 31 March 2004.
- The Charitable Trusts and Common Good Funds show the income and expenditure of the funds and include statements of net assets at 31 March 2004.
