Chief Executive
The Chief Executive is responsible for the efficient and effective
operation of the Council and its business and is the main point of
contact between the members of the council and the officials.
They are also responsible for guiding and advising the authority on policy and ensuring that the Council's aims and objectives are met.
Tracey Logan
Tracey commenced employment with the Council in July 2006 as Head of Human Resources. In November 2008 she was selected as Director of Resources.
She was appointed Chief Executive in October 2011.
Prior to joining SBC, Tracey was the Head of Human Resources for the joint venture company, CSD, which brought together services for Suffolk County Council and Mid Suffolk District Council, delivered in partnership with BT.
Tracey has also worked in various other Local Authorites and spent a number of years in the private sector with BAA.
