Community Engagement
Engaging with local communities and voluntary groups is vital for effective leadership and in delivering quality public services.
The Business Improvement Unit works very closely with a range of local bodies including :
- Scottish Borders Community Councils network and individual community councils
- Borders Forum of Councils of Voluntary Services with work being progressed on the development of a New Ways Voluntary Sector Compact
- Borders Citizens Advice Bureau
- Borders Elder and Youth Councils
