Community Grants Scheme

The Scottish Borders Council Community Grant Scheme has been designed to provide limited support to voluntary groups and organisations that are active within their communities, and to assist communities or interest groups with the development of community based projects.

The Fund is provided by Scottish Borders Council and is divided up annually between each of the 5 Area Committees (Berwickshire, Cheviot, Eildon, Teviot & Liddesdale and Tweeddale), with an amount reserved for Borders-wide and non Borders-based groups.   The amounts provided are subject to periodic review by Scottish Borders Council.

Our Guidance Notes will inform you of who can and cannot apply for grants, what kind of grants are available, what cannot be funded and how your application will be processed.

Application Notes gives you a step by step breakdown of what each question on the application form relates to and how to answer them.
