Borders Performs

The Borders Performs section gives you the latest information on how the Scottish Borders is performing in a range of areas.

We continually monitor our performance against a number of priorities and performance indicators, and the Single Outcome Agreement commits us to improving our performance and service quality for both the Council and for our Community Planning Partners. Take a look at our first progress report to Scottish Government on delivery of our SOA.

 

As well as monitoring and reporting our own performance, external agencies such as ‘Social Work Inspection Agency’ (SWIA), ‘Her Majesty’s Inspector of Education’ (HMIE) and Audit Scotland also inspect and report on our performance.

 

The recent Best Value audit of Scottish Borders Council confirmed that the council works well with other organisations, is improving well and knows what it needs to do to improve more.
