Financial assistance for new and small businesses
The Scottish Borders Business Fund is available to fund projects from businesses based in the Scottish Borders. The fund aims to provide financial assistance to new and small businesses (up to 15 employees) to encourage to local firms to invest and grow their business.
It offers the chance to apply for a discretionary grant of up to 50% of a project's eligible costs, between £500 and £4,000, towards projects designed to boost sales and increase profitability.
In addition to any potential financial benefit - all applicants will work with a dedicated business advisor from Business Gateway who will provide business development assistance, and will review and then submit the completed application to the Council's funding panel for consideration.
