Borders Abbeys Way
The Borders Abbeys Way is a route linking the four great ruined Borders Abbeys in Kelso, Jedburgh, Melrose and Dryburgh; and also including the towns of Hawick and Selkirk. The full route is approximately 109km/ 68 miles in length.
The route has been opened in stages over the last few years. The route is way-marked throughout, in both directions, with an 'AW' symbol denoting 'Abbeys Way'. A booklet is available to download.
There is an introduction, a section for each of the five stages and an application form for a completion certificate:
